London based Arup Group, in consortium with San Francisco based Thompson Design Group, globally reputed McKinsey, the joint venture of Korea Land and Housing Corporation and Yooshin Engineering Corporation ( both from Republic of Korea), Japan based Consortium of Oriental Consultants Global and Capital Fortunes Pvt. Limited, Hyderabad and the Netherlands-based Royal Haskoning DHV Consulting Pvt. Limited in consortium with Haskoning DHV Nederland BV are among the eight shortlisted consortia vying for the PAMC project. The PAMC will also assist the Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) prepare a socio-economic development plan for the capital city. Representatives of the eight short-listed consortia will shortly tour the capital city areas before submitting their technical and financial bids. âAs many as 15 companies had submitted Expression of Interest for the job of PAMC. Of the 15, eight have been short-listed. In the pre-bid meeting on Friday, the representatives sought extension of time to submit technical and financial bids as they want to tour the capital city area and study geography, topography and other essential components before quoting a bid,â said a source. At the meeting, it was decided that the representatives would e-mail their queries to the state government. The Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh will reply on December 4 and the bids will be submitted by December 12. The PAMC will be finalised on December 15 and the name will be forwarded to the government. On the same day i.e. December 12, the Administrative Staff College of India will assist INCAP in evaluation of the technical bids. The finalization of PAMC will be done on December 15 and the name will be forwarded to the government. The PAMC will also have to prepare a socio-economic development plan for the capital city area. âThe vision is to create a compact, transit-oriented city which would synthesize the best features of urban planning, sustainability, technology, and effective governance. We invited the EOI to avail the services of a professional management consultancy firm of global repute to act as a PAMC for the Capital City Project.
