I will give you an idea. Walk into best buy or any other big box store. Check the TVs displayed on the stands and ask for the floor model. They will give you at least 40% off. One caveat. You have to take it as is. Prepare to go with a SUV or mini van. | ||

First thing first... check the height. When you place/hook up the TV, the middle of the TV should be at head level while watching from couch across. Chala mandhi, fireplace paina TV hook up chesi, meda noppi tho baadha padatharu. Bigger the TV, lower it should be from the floor. Second thing, form factor. I prefer a rack/cabinet so I can place components. If you setup up HT, then you need space for placing receiver, set top box etc and the center channel speaker. Spend good for TV stand because that is what enhances the appeal. | ||
