For 2012 and prior years, medical expenses for most taxpayers were limited to the amount in excess of 7.5% of Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Link ledu kani to be company brochure lo ila undi ... Good news! Healthcare FSA “use it or lose it” rule change. The IRS modified the requirement to forfeit all unused Healthcare FSA funds at year end. Beginning with your 2015 election, you may carry over up to $500 of unused Healthcare FSA funds to 2016. Unused amounts over $500 will be forfeited. The IRS won’t allow both a carryover feature and a grace period, so we are discontinuing the grace period. •• I f you have a 2014 Healthcare FSA, you still have until March 15, 2015, to incur medical expenses and request reimbursement from those funds. •• All 2015 Healthcare FSAs will have the carryover feature instead of the grace period extension. |

Flexible Spending is different from Childcare spending - which is up 5K max per kid i guess. But yes, both have to be working or enrolled in a school which prevents them from taking care of kid at home. |
