try this.. when you have apps stuck in "Waiting ..." after a restore from backup on iOS7, the app is actually fully installed and you can run it through the spotlight search, or through teethe store using the "OPEN" button. This is the reason why you are having problems uninstalling and re-installing, or have to use ITunes. Here is a way that seems to work every time WITHOUT having to uninstall or re-install anything. 1- on your device, from Settings > iTunes& App Store, logout from the store. 2- put the device in airplane mode 3- Reboot the device (pressing power and home together, and NOT a simple power cycle) 4- Once the phone is restarted, turn airplane mode off. You should see the apps in "Waiting " mode finish installing one by one, and get back to normal. when done, you can login to the store again | ||

5 and 5s are old for ios8 ..they are made for ios 7x . try to get 8.1 i think that version has fixes | ||

ios upgrades are highly hardware dependent ..apple itself dont recommend os upgrades on old h/w..ofkors s/w update available ani bothers ley adhi vere vishaya  ..inka enno choosthav good luck | ||

Wheel thiruguthu untadi, download start avvadu, multiple restarts cheyali or delete and re install the app This is the situation since ios8 update in all devices ,very frustrating | ||

sucks, iphone sicks quality is gone with steves, app updates stuck in all my 3 devices ,very frustating |
