They are looking for a cheap and quick fix...But Jr.Docs are just Jr.docs...they are just out of medical school, without any real experience or further training...Their priorities are different; like preparing themselves for PG exams, Plab or Usmle or whatever...even if they are compelled to do that one yr of rural service, their heart doesn't lie there...The real soultion would be to revise the pay scale and recruit permanent physicians.... and finally, if engineers and other professionals are not required to do any compulsory govt. service, why should it be any different with jr.docs? | ||
