Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Ilayathalapathy Vijay shares a very good rapport. Pawan remade Vijay's Kushi in Telugu and Vijay appeared in Tamil version of 'Thammudu'. Both these actors are better known for their serene nature. Vijay's Kaththi was released yesterday and this film opened up with mixed response. However, Vijay was able to register his career best figures with Kaththi on day one and film is doing decent business at the Tamil box-office. According to sources, Pawan Kalyan's camp showed their interest to remake Kaththi in Telugu. But, Vijay has politely denied the offer as he is more concerned about his Telugu market.
