CBN, you will need to focus on the below to keep welfare and development in balance. imo 1. Student loans – Instead of paying the fee for free, create a fund and pay tuition costs for the needy. Ask them to repay after 6 years during a duration of 10 years. Then, the govt will need to come up with new fund after some time. The repayment amount can be used for paying new students after some time. 2. Create a fund for the farmers as well and pay insurance to the small farmers. If any of the areas are hit by natural disasters or crop loss, they can claim the insurance. Ask the farmers to contribute to the fund when the farming is profitable. 3. Collect 5% salary of all employees in the state into a social welfare fund and give that money to poor senior citizens on monthly basis. This way, you will not need to pay from the state treasury. |
