Emc2:very few people are getting into MIT's and harwards
Issue is with the Uni admin process..many universities try to diversify their student population, so will be less likely to take many kids from same school. So, if you have 300 extremely talented kids from TJ, a few universities cannot take them all...they have to consider other schools too...so, kids are losing out there. Inga ee topu universities lo admission vachina, fees vaachipothaayi, not sure how many parents can afford that. |

TJ/AOS are over hyped in current scenario ani anukuntunna...desis are rigging the system and successfully naakinching these once good schools. If a kid is truly talented, he will shine eventually. |

problem with Fairfax(close to downtown) is no proper mass transportation route to DC... train station closest is Vienna..local traffic lo ravatam kastam station ki from fairfax... 50E is worst...66 is too much HOV kuda... sterling ki kuda same problem.. well connected in NOVA is Vienna/Dunnloring, Reston/Herndon/Cashburn only for now.. Arlington elagoo DC lo kalisinatte... |

vienna is not hyped, all biggies like senators, diplomats, DC politicians lives here home prices are high because of next to DC, at the same time some neighborhoods are old so rating is less in for those schools try to go to wards ashburn area, little commute to DC but good communities not like bay area |

Anyone from here? If so, how is real estate scenario here? Tired of Bay Area over-hyped prices so looking for some place which offers affordable RE. Also, how are schools? Here, there is huge differences between schools: some schools are too good where nearby apartments/houses charge a bomb. And some schools are worst. Weather? Is it total lock-down in winter? or temperatures are comfortable? How much snow do we expect? Thanks! |
