But someone said that it was offensive once. But not anymore.

Telugu ni reverse lo gulute kada and it developed into Gulti. This is more used by Tams (Tamilians) to call us in a sarcastic way. Kamal hassan used this term in one of his movies and it became more known afaik. Manam tamils ni aravollu ani vetakaram ga antam kada, idi same impact.
