Anantapur real esate gurinchi telisina vallu evaraina db lo unnara? I talked to a couple of dealers who are selling land near Kodikonda check post, chilamathur, Palasamudram, Gorantla and Penukonda. Any idea which one of them will be a better bet and why?

Any thoughts about land in Shamshabad, Kompalli, Maheswaram and Shankarapalli? Are all these areas away from Outer ring road and might be risky/dead investments for a long time before they show some good appreciation?

Hyd lo invest cheste etoo podhu.. kani exponential growth expect cheyyodhu... simply it wont in the current circumstances... better stick to good pockets of Hyd..dont go beyond that... ekkado outer ring road avathala ithe assal touch cheyyodhu...

Andhra side ithe strategic ga select chesi konukkovali... prime areas lo prices are in peak..no chance to get profits in those areas..better go little outside, still be strategic..

Yeah, I have high hopes about development in AP.

A bit about my background - I am from Andhra, currently residing in Bangalore. I have lived in Hyd for about 7 years. If I think emotionally or sentimentally, I wouldn't want to invest single paisa in Hyderabad because of KCR & his goons. But, I am trying consciously not to blend emotional requirements in investment choices, hence, the need to evaluate and take a rational decision.

About AP, I know that Vijayawada and surroundings are hyped and in a speculative market as of now. I wanted to diversify the investments into 25L-30L each in Vizianagaram, Anantapur and Hyd. But, as you said, I am worried about the appreciation in Hyd assets as long as TRS is in power.

On a side note, any guesses if and when the special status can happen? I opine that special status will not be given to the entire state, I think it will be provided to northern districts and rayalaseema.

Is it wise to invest in Hyd real estate now? What do the RE experts on the forum think about investing in land in Hyd outskirts? Will the returns be good in medium to long term perspective(5-10 years)?

I am evaluating the locations for a planned investment of ~75 lakhs. I don't have plans to buy apartment as investment. I am also looking at some places in AP, especially in Uttarandhra and Anatapur. I would like to know the opinions and suggestions of RE experts in this db about the risks and rewards for any of these areas or other areas they see fit.
