amongst your dev team, if you want to share implementation outline ...do you use any tool/strategy? for e.g., building a file parser program tasks - download file, parse file for custom validation, load to staging db, load to master db, update some other db etc components - program/class name, method name, table names, stored procedure names etc long long ago used to sequence diagrams and other UML stuff been going solo for the past so many years...Monday notebook lo raasukunnadhi, wednesday kalla page not found  ...also , if I found design gaps after starting to code I would change implementation accordingly ...at max set me back by 3-4 hrs excel spreadsheet ani seppakandi ...aday doing now  now , I have share these with others...who will be lifting the heavy stuff but need direction to link requirement-design-implementation another factor is off shore team...verbal explanation helps only to some extent...ppl are overwhelmed by implementation details ...they need something they can go back and refer and conc at getting the task(s) done |
