when to start, my kid is 3 years, he likes numbers and starting doing additions by himself, we did not teach him anything but he picked it up by himself, also plays number games on vehicles | ||

If your kid is doing math good, Math club is very inspiring to them. My son won dozens of trophies in his middle and high school days. Curerntly he is a senior ( 12th grader ). He likes to become a surgeon now ;-) His scores: ACT scores: 36/36 ( 36E, 36R, 36M, 36 Sci ) SAT Score: 2400/2400 ( 800R, 800M, 800W ) Whole lot of AP courses with 5/5 on all AP exams Math Club is one activity that motivated him in his middle school days. Day before yesterday I stood in line for Math Petathalon all night and could not get a spot for my kid as the line started at evening 8.00PM. Today I went at 3 AM and could get a spot in chess club. Lines motham manavalle and there was almost a big fight among parents as there was roll call happening from the sign up sheet (This sign up sheet was unoffical, just to track who joined the line and at what time) and they cut of peoples names who were not there. So just before the registration opened, people wjho were not there came up and had a fight as they lost the spot but eventuall they won the fight with the people who took the roll call. Motham spots for Math was about 20 and around 75 parents turned up and for Chess there were around 100 people turned up. Highlight was ikkadvallu could not get even one spot . If this is the case with Austin, ika desi hubs lo paristhithi ent. BTW this is for Elementary and my kid is in Kinder. Nenu kuda just sheep. PS Mav vachi kummaku. |
