untara ? ___- I respect ALS patients but not Stupid Ice bucket challenge which waste water, which will risk the nervous system of some humans who are trying it and also today 2 firemen are electricuted and are critical n 2 others injured. And it's a stupid marketing stunt. Why not do some thing useful to Planet earth and donate to ALS research , this stunt is an insult to ALS patients , you are risking other humans to find a cure for ALS, how rediculous is that , there will be another marketing stunt to cure Paraplegic patients because of this stunt , how foolish and I am seeing my juniors participating in this being in medical profession .Wow where is your education and empathy as we treat these patients . Please stop challenging n start educating and donating instead of falling for the ice bucket crap. People who are doing this not treating patients like you. So don't compare with those celebrities n capitalist n politicians. Behave like sensible professional who actually read and works with ALS patients . Do you want me to remind you the risks in professional way , then here it is: Whether it’s a longer duration or even a short, intense duration it sometimes can cause a vagal response, where you breathe in and your bear down and it slows your heart rate down. For somebody who’s on blood pressure medications, on any medications that can slow their heart rate down, And not to say head injuries from falls. So educate your fellow co workers or friends if they tag you for challenge instead of dumping cold water .Save planet, save water and help ALS patients. Here is a video posted in YouTube . Look at how ALS ice bucket challenge is a joke . Sharing this so you can laugh at yourself for throwing ice and water on you while Millions in third world countries don't have water to drink .
