Film people and belief go hand in hand. They have loads of sentiments and almost all of them believe in vaastu. If a film fails, then another producer will refuse to sit in the same office. Same goes for their houses. They make sure that they are vaastu compliant to the last detail. The latest rumour doing rounds in Film Nagar is about Balakrishna’s residence. It is being said that Balayya who believes in vaastu and goes about his life with strict regimen has to change his residence to avoid bad things from happening to him. Recently, he was hurt on the sets of his latest film and ever since these rumours have been doing rounds in tinsel ville. According to some vaastu specialists, Balayya’s house has many problems – there is a petrol bunk right next to his house which increases the fire element, then his house starts off at a higher level and ends at a lower level, also there is an L-shaped road in front of his house. This they say has led to many accidents in the past like the much-publicised shootings at his house, the death of a Nepali security guard, the death of Babu Mohan’s son in a freak accident in front of his house and the death of Soundarya after she started shooting for Nartanasala and the movie getting stalled eventually. Then there are others who say that Balayya who is well aware of such matters would have never lived in the house if it had so many problems.
