This would have costed around 1700 including the bridge. Deeni badulu you could have got a system like Kef/ Q right which is a proper 5.1. A "quasi" 5.1 would not be able replicate the effect of a proper surround system right - what sounds to come out of which speaker etc..of course the advantage of a single system + wireless is fantastic. I used to have a Zvox which conked off...searching for a no-fuss, no wire alternative.. | ||

if you have a 2 year old normally working smartphone which can work with your wifi router, SONOS will do an amazing job
unfortunately , except the PLAYBAR , all other sonos speakers (1,3,5) have line-in instead of something like optical cable you can run a line-in output cable from your TV to the sonos speaker. For the sonos system to work, at least one component has to be wired in to the router component can be a speaker or playbar or a bridge - http://www.sonos.com/shop/products/bridge once wired in to the router, sonos will create its own network inside your home network so that its components done get effected with issues like external connection issues for router also which type of sonos speaker you want depends on where to use it i tried sonos 5 as a stand alone , but returned and got a sonos 1 to use as a portable if you already have existing speaker or speaker-amp, you can buy more components to get them also on the sonos netwrok and control them via the app in essence play different source or same source on each of the speakers(wired and non wired)..these components are expensive, would buy only if I had kick ass existing speakers my config: PLAYBAR with SUB,two sonos 1 for a 5.1 set up in family room sonos 1 as a portable | ||

I was talking about the prices of JBL Flip at 6 K. The price of Sonos 1 is insane in India - i can get it in US for $200. In fact India lo price ki i can get a Sonos 5. Every second month somebody will keep coming and going to US, i can get it from there... | ||

JBL Flip is around $100. And bluetooth connections often break, while Sonos uses the wi-fi network and if you take Sonos 1 it is only $200, just $100 more...you can control it with your computer, phone, tablet etc...the reviews on Amazon are fantastic.. | ||

How good is the Wi-fi connection through Sonos connector. Does is cross walls - i have my wi-fi in one room and will likely play music in another room, does it do a good job or will there be breakup issues? And also can i connect my TV to the Sonos - have heard conflicting things about this? Am not much of an audiophile (at best once a week or fortnight), illantha wires, walls ki speakers pette interest asalu ledhu...general feedback ivvandi... |
