There is a hidden agenda behind this survey. Ivvala pensioners andarini, 58-42 ratio lo divide chesaru. today there is no way you can distingush who is andhra and who is telangana from pensioners point of view. The committee which over saw the division figured out that there are around 41.6% of pensioners living in T area and rest in A area. so the pensioners were divided according to the area they reside. ee survey tarvatha oka 1 yr tarvatha valla pensioners ki memu ela kadathamu ani pensions aapocchu. ee survey unte they will exactly know who is who. | ||

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said when Telangana was merged with Andhra, it had an overflowing treasury and over One crore agricultural land. But all of them have been looted over last 60 years by samaikya rulers, he said. He said the failure of arogyasri, ration cards and tuition fee programs was mostly due to wrong and manipulated household surveys and stressed that proper survey will reduce govt burden and also make delivery of benefits to right people. Addressing a meeting for comprehensive household surveys at HICC, the Telangana CM said for a population of 88 households in Telangana, there were 1.7 crore ration cards including 91 lakh white cards. 'Every effort is made to ensure that benefits go to the right and genuine poor', he said. He said the tuition fee welfare scheme alone cost the government Rs.4000 crore and hence a provision to Andhra students will attract demands from students of other states who account for nearly 12 percent of the total admissions in Telangana. KCR said there were 12 lakh dalits in Telangana including three lakhs in urban areas. 'My government will not only give 3 acres of land but also give them a bore well with pump set and electricity connection without anything to do with banks' he said. KCR said the government will waive the registration charges for dalits lands and plan to spend around Rs.2000 crore on the program for the welfare of the dalits. |
