CJ brother, ----------- We are five families going to the trip, so for sure Kids will have blast and of course elders. On a side note, while I was in India/nepal my HD bought me 15 pairs for this Europe trip. ------------ So many similarities. We were three families (3 brothers though, one from India and two from US) and my wife also planned all the shopping for the trip (one pair per day + few extra just in case - . Regarding the planning of Europe trip, that is the benefit of going on these tours as we don't need to plan the logistics other than our own items shopping. It is like a THAALI in a restaurant, you get every things in limited quantities and if you like particular item, you can order that item when you go next time. |

It is authentic Sanskrit only everywhere. In Janakpuri they do aarati to the local pond (Ganga aarati they call) in most authentic way. There may be some differences in dressing owing to the nature but it's fine. "parOpadESa vELaayam sarvE vyaasa paraaSara" |

Long time no see. been in a cutting mode to Internal in general and DB in particular. Before heading to my trip to Europe had a wonderful trip to Nepal for about 10 days and if anyone needs a first hand info on Nepal can contact. Got permit for Manasa Sarovar yatra but none else got permit, so made Nepal trip. Next year Manasa Sarovar. DAY 1 INDIA TO KATMANDU. Sunday night (early hours of Mon) 3 AM getup, shower, pooja and go to Airport. Flight from Hyd to Delhi. Heavy break fast in Delhi Airport. Evening flight from Delhi to Khatmandu. Land in Tribhuvan International Airport. Take visit visa for 15 days ($25). Local guide ready with luxury Bus. Head to hotel Everest. Take some rest, shower pooja and go to Pasupatinath Temple. Back and rest. DAY 2 Visti to Pasupathinath Temple again along with few other temples like Buddha stoopa etc., Lunch and fly to Pokhra. DAY 3 FLY TO POKHRA. Visit Varahi Temple in Pokhra. DAY 4 FLY TO JHOMSON ------ This flight runs only before 10 AM. If weather is not good no flight. Small 18 seater flights. Motam airport ant kalipi oka foot ball ground lo 1/4th vuntundi. Head for MUKTHINATH DARSHAN. The drive to Muktinath Temple is awesome. Absolutely no roads. Only some path made by Jeeps in Mountains. Hardly 10 feet wide path and two way traffic. A small slip will land the Jeep into valley down which is about 500/600 feet. DAY 5 FLY BACK TO JHOMSON --- POKHRA. Rest in Pokhra. DAY 6 Pokhra to Khatmandu by Bus. On the way darshan of Man Kamna Temple. The rope way to the temple is awesome. One of the best and longest rope ways. After Darshan back to Khatmandu. In the evening Dakshina Kali Temple visit. DAY 7 FLY TO JANAKPURI from Khatmandu. Janakpuri is the place (close to Bihar about 9 KM) in Nepla, where Sita mata's birth took place. Also there is a place called Dhanush Dham where part of Siva Dhanush is fell off. This is the place where Sita Kalyanam took place. The airport is so small that it's just smaller than a four road juntion in a city. As soon as one comes out of Airport he is greeted with Rikshaws. DAY 8 FLY BACK TO KATMANDU and visit to some more holy places in Khatmandu like Swayam bhoo nath (lord buddha), Jala Narayana aka Budaa Neelkanth etc., DAY 9 Abhishekam in Pasupathi Nath Temple and DEPARTURE TO INDIA. Kathmandu to Delhi, Delhi to Hyd by night 11 PM. Sunday going out to Europe for about 15 days, covering 8/9 countries with a Tour guy. "parOpadESa vELaayam sarvE vyaasa paraaSara" |
