I don't know much, but, when my daughter used to mouth anything and everything, a blood test revealed that she had abnormally high lead level. Once we started controlling that, she stopped mouthing. | ||

Nothing to worry, if it is Thalassemia Minor, which is not uncommon in India. Very likely he will have mild anemia, which usually doesnt need treatment. | ||

my 2 year old was licking everything, and we took him to doc. iron deficiency vundachu ani doc chepte we had the blood test done. after getting the results, doc wanted us to get an appointment with a hematologist. reason aidigithe, abnormal cell shapes vunnai. it might be due to thalassemia minor antunnadu, and he said clearly it is diff from thalassemia major. we are asked to get more extensive tests with the specialist. antha varaku terrible tension ga vundi  |
