పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించడం వంటి చర్యలతో పాటు సంక్షేమ పథకాల ప్రకటనల ద్వారా తెలంగాణ సీఎం దూసుకుపోతూ ఉంటే, ఏపీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్ర బాబు మాత్రం ఇంకా కార్యరంగంలోకి దిగలేదేమోనన్న భావన కలిగిస్తున్నారు. కనీస సౌకర్యాలు కూడా లేవని ఆయన చెబుతున్న విషయం వాస్తవమే! అయినప్పటికీ ఆ మాటలతో ప్రజలకు ఎంతో కాలం సర్దిచెప్పలేరు. ఫలితాలు వెంటవెంటనే కనబడాలని ప్రజలు కోరుకుంటున్నారు. తెలంగాణ ఏర్పడిందన్న సంతోషంలో ఇక్కడి ప్రజలు ప్రభుత్వం ఎలా ఉంది అన్న ఆంశంపై పెద్దగా దృష్టి పెట్టడం లేదు. 
ఏపీలో అలా కాదు. తమ ప్రాంతం నుంచే పరిపాలన సాగాలనీ, రాజధాని నిర్మాణం వెంటనే ప్రారంభం కావాలని వారు కోరుకుంటున్నారు. రుణ మాఫీ వంటి పథకాల అమలు విషయంలో కూడా ఇంకెంతో కాలం వేచి ఉండే పరిస్థితి లేదు. ప్రతిపక్ష నాయకుడు జగన్మోహన్‌ రెడ్డి అన్నారని కాదు గానీ, ఏపీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు కొన్ని తక్షణ నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుని ఫలితాలు చూపించని పక్షంలో ఆయన గ్రాఫ్‌ పడిపోతుందనడంలో సందేహం లేదు. 
ఇరు రాష్ర్టాల ముఖ్యమంత్రుల పనితీరును ఉభయ ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలు గమనిస్తున్నారు. 
తెలంగాణలో సీఎం కేసీఆర్‌ ఏదో ఒకటి చేస్తున్నట్టుగా ప్రతి రోజూ హడావుడి కనిపిస్తుండగా, ఏపీ సీఎం విషయంలో అలా కనబడటం లేదు. ఏపీకి ప్రత్యేక హోదా, రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి నిధులతో పాటు ప్రకటించిన విద్యాసంస్థలను వెంటనే సాధించి, క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పనులు ప్రారంభించని పక్షంలో చంద్రబాబునాయుడు మున్ముందు ఇబ్బంది పడవలసి వస్తుంది
