This was made clear after GMR president C Prasanna, UK consultant Don Randall and others called on KCR at Secretariat on Wednesday. The GMR representatives gave a power-point presentation to the Chief Minister on the security system in London. They presented the project designed by the Raxa Security Services Ltd of GMR group to the CM. GMR representatives and the Chief Minister discussed installation of CC cameras, sensors, alarm system, data storage and video analytic systems, communication network, and communication infrastructure and other security issues. The Chief Minister wanted the GMR representatives to study various security arrangements being implemented in other countries and come out with a suitable security system for Hyderabad. He suggested to them to focus on traffic, congregation, agitations, crime against women and activities of anti-social elements. The CC cameras to be installed in the city should cover the entire city besides strengthening the present CC systems in the city, the CM told the GMR representatives. The Chief Minister said the CC cameras to be set up by the police should be connected with those CC cameras set up by private malls, colonies and other private institutions.
