of course. I thought the guys who end up presenting are screened, so this free marketing is the reward for going through the process. surprising that they have to pay for it. the downside is greater actually - if the sharks rip you apart, which is the case mostly, you can become an untouchable to outside investors right away. curtains close for future investments unless you change/learn. in any case, I tried looking it up and cannot find anything about this. here's a link to the 'process' which is quite long and painful to get selected. on top of this if they also take 5%, I wouldnt even try. http://timmceneny.wordpress.com/2012/05/17/becoming-a-contes tant-on-the-shark-tank-tv-show/ | ||
