If you want to see Grand Canyon..South Rim is best...It will be 4-4.5 hrs from Vegas...You can walk around the rim which is close to 1 mile...Good time is to go these around 6 PM so that you can see the sunset.... Take a helicopter ride at south rum...Will cost around $175 and 15-20 min and it a nice shot tour. http://www.papillon.com/ Good trip will be to start in vegas around 8 AM..reach GC airport around 12-12:30 take a helicopter ride and depending on rush you can finish by 2:00 PM..Got to the park and walk around the rim will take 2 hrs ..You can start back to vegas around 5 PM..you will come back to vegas around 9:00 PM. If you want to spend more time in GC..you can do some tours with Pink Jeep tours..they are good too http://pinkjeeptours.com/grand-canyon/our-tours/ GC is all about enjoying nature..not much activity unless you want to camp and do hiking ..you can just sit there and admire beauty....but definitely worth driving the 4 hrs..West rum in close to Vegas..2 hrs...but i will still recommend the south rim 01/04/2014-161.2 lbs 01/04/2012-187 lbs | ||
