All eyes have been on Akkineni Nagarjuna's N Convention Centre as TRS Government has decided to demolish all the illegal establishments in Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust lands. GHMC Officials informed action would be taken against the owner of N Convention Centre if it was found to be on the lake bed and FTL area. A survey is being conducted on this land at present. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna claims he purchased the N Convention land from Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust in the year 1992 and also got the property transferred in his name. He went on to say municipal authorities refused building permission due to land dispute even though he applied for it immediately. He also mentions about applying to GHMC for regularization of the building under the Building Penalization Scheme (BPS) in January 2008. For some reasons, GHMC Officials kept the regularization pending. |
