Looks like Jagan knows Amit Shaw closely and that is how his meeting was arranged with Modi for almost an hour. Don't know what transpired in the meeting, but the talk is Jagan requested Modi to save him from the cases and Modi seems to have told him that he will not interfere in the cases either positively or negatively. And also, Modi seems to have indicated that if YSRCP survives these five years and if it still in the contest in 2019 and IF BJP needs its help, he (Modi) will not hesitate to take YSRCP's help as Modi don't trust CBN fully. There is also strong belief in YSRCP's elected representatives that Jagan will go to Jail in 6 months or so and that is the reason lot of them are trying to jump. What I don't understand in this whole story is WHY DID MODI give that much time to Jagan for a meeting? Where is the need for Modi to play politics given his overwhelming mandate? |
