There were speculations in media about Govindudu Andarivadele shoot being stalled as Ram Charan wasn't happy with the way the film is shaping up. However the actor put an end to these rumors by joining the shoot. Then why did those rumors come up when all is well between the actor and director. The reason for this is learnt that Ram Charan was unhappy with the choice of Krishna Vamsi for his grandfather role in the film. Tamil actor Raj Kiran (Muni, Pandem Kodi fame) was roped in for this role at the start. Ram Charan was reportedly not happy with the scenes shot on him and Raj Kiran as the actor looked over dramatic and out of place in the whole setup. Ram Charan had a word about this with Krishna Vamsi and firmly demanded for a replacement. Krishna Vamsi had no choice but kick out Raj Kiran from the film as the director didn't want to upset his lead actor. So Prakash Raj is called in as a replacement and all the scenes that were shot on Raj Kiran will be canned again. Prakash Raj is surely a value addition to this film that is lacking star value sans Charan |
