In one interview Nandamuri Balakrishna stated that he is inclined towards becoming a minister because that helps him growing as a mass leader. He added, education and health are the most important aspects for poor and middle class people and hence he would like to serve the society through TDP and his position. He also focus on generating revenues to the newly formed state. For these purposes he is targeting four domains in general like Health ministry, Education, Panchayatiraj and tourism ministry. After winning as MLA from Hindupur, Balayya stated he would be working on the goals of his father founded political party TDP. Keeping this in mind he is preparing himself to become a minister in his brother in law, Naidu’s cabinet. However his Minister position with respect to health ministry is almost confirmed seems like he is waiting for the official announcement. Since the TDP programme consists of a scheme called 'NTR Arogya Sri' specially focused at the poor, Balayya will be more than happy to be the head of the nodal ministry for this scheme. Balakrishna is presently serving as chairman to Basava tarakam cancer institute and sourced donations from all over world through his travel and efforts. He almost changed the fate of the institute for good. Keeping his proven track record in mind, he is being considered for the position as health minister. |
