10th class lo full decided ikkada...no engineering, only commerce ani... If one has an Ivy League MBA, then CFA is absolutely worthless in my view. Some of my batchmates here in B-School did an CFA after their MBA, that too because their office was sponsoring the costs if they clear the exam. Because of their background, they cleared all the levels fairly easily but degree naluka geekotaniki kooda paniki radhu. As i wrote earlier, equity research or equity trading lo koncham help untadhi, especially if you are from a second tier school as it will add some sheen to the profile, but that too only in the first few years after graduation. As i was in IB, naaku interest asalu raaledhu. Reddit kooda engineering tharavatha chesadu with no prior financial knowledge, so it can't be that tough. | ||

No matter what you know,You need 250 hours of prep to be sure. Who uses financial calcuator in real world? In CFA world, for level 1 more than 25% is learning how to use the calcualtor. | ||

regular investment management firm, IB ki CFA is not such a help.IB -Corp Finance ki Accounting background or Ivy MBA is helpful. But mana H1b, green card bathukulaki - hedge funds are not easy to break into,they prefer lateral hiring.
