Many NRIs are working class with salaries and may be some extra dollars to invest. How can we become partners in SA development through investing and also get financial rewards for the development that the state will see. Here are some ideas : CBN should sell bonds in open market for anyone to buy. Bonds will play dividends after 10 years. Some level of guaranteed sum as well. These are state government bonds. Individual sectors like Telecom, Pharma, IT etc to similar sell shares through coordination with the state government. These are like shares in open market but with higher dividents for those investing in the first 5 years (incentive to attract more investors) Individuals to buy them based on their capacity. By doing this, NRI can buy and become stakeholders in state development and also benefit financially. Any other ideas, suggestions? |
