That statement was in the context of trying to make up for numbers on a pan-Indian level BJP became a power to reckon in KA only after 98' general elections. BJP grew in KA from 1994 .. and certainly not due to Vajpayee and at the expense of any ally!! Bihar lo BJP let Samata party grow at their expense. SP, BSP, JD(U) & RJD are not going to let you have a free run like this time they will evolve, SP looks the weakest of the lot because after pehalwan ji there is vacuum and I doubt Akhileshs' capability of filling his shoes. KA lo kuda you've lot of work to do. Strength to strength ellali bhayya not get strong by preying on your alliance partner. Look at INC - NCP alliance, each has their own zone of comforts and they don't poach each others territory. Anyway Modi is stronger but he is sensible and realistic. | ||
