this is a proposed rule. they have a comments deadline of july 11th. so after that DHS will consider all the comments concerns and arguements and make a decision whether to pass this rule or not. if passed. H4 holders can apply for EAD if the principle H1b holder has a I140 approved or a Labor certification or I140 pending for morethan 365 days . and the good thing is there is no restrictions on what these h4 visa holders can or cannot work as. so once you get an ead they can be anything from a cashier at a gas station/walmart to ITconsultant or anything. | ||
