In a secret operation, sleuths of the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB), Ahmedabad, have picked up Hyderabadi youth Syed Kirmani from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and taken him to Gujarat two days ago. Gujarat police claim that Kirmani, a resident of Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar, in the Old City, is associated with Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed and has accused him of involvement in the 2003 DCB-6 criminal conspiracy case of Ahmedabad. He has been on the wanted list of the Gujarat police for the last 10 years.
