Power Star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan might have played several heroic roles on screen, but he proved a comedian in politics. Nobody took him seriously in the electioneering, as he did not contest the elections but campaigned for the Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party combine. One did not understand why he floated a new party to campaign for other parties. And there are reports that his campaign has in fact done more harm than good to the TDP-BJP campaign; it indirectly helped YSR Congress party to get more sympathy and more votes. However, there is one person who took Pawan Kalyan seriously and he is none other than TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP chief seems to be of firm view that Pawan Kalyan had fetched him some votes. So, soon after the elections are over in Seemandhra, Naidu called up Pawan and profusely thanked him for campaigning for the TDP-BJP combine. He told Pawan that the TDP would come to power in the State. What an optimism! Jai Andhra!! Jai Jai Andhra!!! |
