With TDP-BJP alliance improving its vote share in the last few weeks, Neither TRS nor Congress is able to get the magic figure in Telangana. Hence, KCR has been exploring various options to form the first government in the newly formed state. For any party, Exactly 60 seats is all they need for holding on to power in Telangana. However, TRS is likely to win just 2 seats out of 24 Assembly segments in Greater Hyderabad, 1 out of 10 in Khammam district and 3-4 out of 12 in Nalgonda as per poll trackers. So, The so-called champion of Telangana willn't be winning more than 50 seats at any cost. Apparently, KCR will seek the support of MIM and Independents in case TRS seats tally comes anywhere close to 50. If count doesn't exceed 45, then the TRS Chief will have no other option but to rely on the support of Congress to form the government. Hence, KCR took a sudden U-Turn soon after the campaigning came to an end in Telangana. Apart from showering praises on Sonia Gandhi for making T-Statehood a reality, He extended his support to UPA if there is any chance for Rahul Gandhi to become Prime Minister.
