Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Wednesday made an interesting threat to the voters of Telangana. Addressing a public meeting at Kodad in Nalgonda district, the TRS president said if the people voted him to power in these elections, he would develop Telangana in an unprecedented manner. âIf you donât vote for the TRS and bring it into power, I have no option but to go home and sleep peacefully. So, it is for you to decide whether you want me to develop Telangana or go back to sleep,â he said. It is a known fact that KCR often used to go into hiding at his farm house in Medak district and did not appear before public for days together, even if there was a lot of disturbance in the State for and against Telangana State. He was not available for his party leaders even when the Telangana movement was at its peak. The TJAC leaders used to feel frustrated with him. Now, he is threatening the people against voting for other parties.  |
