I fully concur with you on this point.This is gonna have a major impact on the elections and post results they are gonna have all the time in the world to start bickering about whose fault it was. Good or bad, Jagan is doing his work like a focused mission by being in the people whereas for all the hype, TDP-BJP haven't yet appealed to the public as a united force. CBN, being the seasoned politician that he is, should have seen all this coming and could have started this poll exercise long back including enquiring on which candidates they were gonna field. What's happening now just isn't warranted. | ||

Babu would not have done this game of brinkmanship without reason. He might have had strong suspicion of an underhand dealing between YCP and BJP, otherwise at the last minute, he would not have created a crisis. Instead of finalising the candidates and going to the public early, it is shocking that most of the leaders' bandwidth of time and energy is spent on these internal bickerings. This is definitely going to impact the voter sentiment and the results, at least to some extent. | ||

As a neutral voter in general, absolutely miffed with the way TDP-BJP are handling their alliance. It simply shows there is a lot of opinion difference, mistrust, confusion, anger & chaos in the alliance. The confidence in such an alliance is coming down day by day as there is no guarantee that such a coalition shall form a successful government and work together for the benefit of the state. While I was really angry at both the parties, an interesting theory came into limelight: Adani has brokered a deal between Jagan & Modi (BJP). Now that it is understood that Govt. in SA can be formed only either by YCP or TDP, BJP wants to keep its options open. Jagan has donated huge funds to BJP. There seems to be an understanding with YCP that BJP shall field not so strong candidates in SA wherever they have been allotted seats. This in turn shall have YCP a clear lead in both the MP & MLA segments in such regions. Hence, if required BJP may always fall back on a strong YCP for support later. CBN seems to have known about this deal and hence is creating a huge ruckus till the same is cleared. While this theory may/may not be true, doesn't seem improbable given the present circumstances. One thing is clear, All three of them - Modi, CBN & Jagan are hungry for power and seem to go to any extent for the same. All is fair in Love & War. |
