A strange incident occurred at a polling booth in Pune.

People were shocked when they found out that whichever button was pressed on the EVM, only the Congress light blinked.

Surprised by this, voters have informed to the polling officers and the voting was called off for a while.

This incident happened in Shamrao Kalmadi School, Pune and the voting has been resumed after a new Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) was brought to the polling booth.

The officers in the polling booth have also decided to permit around 28 voters who had already casted their votes with the defective EVM, to vote afresh.

Similar thing happened recently and at that time whichever button was pressed on the EVM, only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) light blinked.
