http://www.gulte.com/news/26142/Rift-between-Sharmila-Bharat i There were strong speculations that Ms. Sharmila and Ms. Bharati, wife of Mr. Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy, had some serious differences on who should lead the party, head newspaper and TV Channel, when Jagan was in jail. This later even led Sharmila to stay away from Party activities for a while. What's latest is that our sources confirmed that still there are some serious differences between the duo. MS. Sharmila, who did massive Pada Yatra, wants to have her pie, even politically. And reportedly, this didn't go well with her "arch rival" Bharati. Bharati is reportedly compelled Jagan Reddy to reduce significance of Sharmila in YSR Congress Party. Tactically, Bharati suggested her husband to give the reigns of Party in Telangana to Sharmila rather than giving her MP seat. Jagan did try to opt this plan by Bharati but it didn't work out as Sharmila is keen on her political career. Mr. Jagan eventually tried to adopt two-pronged strategy to convince both sister Sharmila and wife Bharati but reportedly this too didn't work much. Finally, Jagan bent to pressure and gave Vizag seat to Sharmila which apparently miffed Bharati. No doubt, Ms. Sharmila has gained enough political mileage and being the only women campaigner who drew lots of crowds and sympathy and became a leader in just span of 1 and 1/2 years( when Jagan was in jail and asked her to campaign ) and now her supporters are asking her to even contest for MP seat in Seemandhra. She has become a new power center in YSRC to give some sleepless nights to her brother and leader Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Her meteoric rise has even baffled Jagan, since she was simple home-maker who all of sudden transformed into a political force in the party. The rift within YS family especially between two powerful ladies is said to be an interesting watch out. This alleged rift is giving jitters to Jagan, whose sole aim is to occupy CM chair, as he is afraid that it may effect his winning chances. Since elections are fast approaching the family is trying to push those differences under the carpet and posing a bold look as if they're united.
