Just putting a review of position-by-position review of Steelers Pre-draft. And finnally there will be draft needs in last section. QBs: Set in stone amma.. no need for anything (Grade: A+) RBs: Lagarette blount signing tho we have a formidable 1-2 punch leveon-blount. (Grade: B+) WRs: only good WR is Antonio Brown. Serious dent in WR position. (Grade : C-) TEs: Heath Miller returned from injury last year and improved offense in seasons 2nd half. This year he will be fully heathly. touch wood. (Grade: B+) OL: Offensive line was achiles heal for last 3yrs. But this year HOFer coach Mike Munchak will be training the dawgs... irragkummudey. (Grade: B) LBs: Lamar Woodley will be released on June 1st. But the youngsters are very promising. Jarvis Jones will be in 2nd year. Steelers are steelers they train LBs every single time.(Grade: A) DBs: Still some room for improvement even after signing mike mitchell of carolina. Shamarko Thomas needs to step up in 2nd year. Still DBs is negative area for steelers. (Grade: B-) DL: Pretty bad shape, every one left in free agency except for Cam heyward. They need Draft picks + Free agency to get some one at Nose Tackle. Grade (C-) Special Teams: Nothing much to say. (Grade: B-) Analysis: This year steelers are underdogs. They are not expected to win 9 or 10 games. But, with most of the veterans retired or released, This will be the year for new stars in team to step up. And if that happens, expect steelers to win 8-9 games. As for draft, steelers have draft needs in every position except QB n RB. So, with deep draft talent this and next years Draft are really really important for Steelers to get back into SB hunt by next year.
