Way back in 2009, various political parties came together to defeat YSR, who was then heading the Congress in the state. Parties like the TDP, TRS and Communist parties formed a united front to fight the Congress, but eventually, the front withered away. In a repeat of events, another front is being formed to oppose YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Arch rival of YSR, the TDP is planning to use its in-house media to counter attack him. While TDP had a tie-up with the Communists during the last elections, this year, they are looking for a tie-up with the Saffron party. Though the BJP may not get too many votes in Seemandhra due to bifurcation, a tie-up between the BJP and TDP is imminent. Though nothing is being revealed as yet, TDP leader Chandra Babu Naidu is said to have struck a deal by promising five Lok Sabha seats. Pawan Kalyan is also likely join the group and field candidates wherever he has a strong following. The latest talk is that he will definitely have an understanding with the TDP in such places. As per unofficial reports, Pawan is sure to join the TDP and BJP united front. And for them, Jagan will be the sole target as he has been a champion of the Seemandhra cause. Now media bosses are busy fixing up the deal. The front is confident that they will be able to keep Jagan from gaining power. However, looks like the events from 2009 will be repeated once again. Though the front was confident of defeating YSR then, things did not go as per their plans. So they better be careful this time too! |
