Depends upon the content. If they feel the event shall gather TRP's, they shall sign an exclusive agreement and pay in return. Eg - Pawan's political speech. If it is a routine audio function kinda event, there is not much monetary transactions involved as both of the parties need each other. Usually done for free. Very rare case the someone wants an event live which the channel doesn't need. If there is such a promotional prog, rates are decided on the time slot & length. As with many things, bargaining goes on depending on which channel. | ||
