My boy finally gets through Tampa! Thanks for the prediction! Note finally has his first title of the year & that too in a tough tournament where seeds were falling off like dry leaves. Also he won it despite not playing his perfect tennis but holding on with his tenacity in a lot of matches. As told before, his serve is simply not working in crucial junctures. He has to do something before it costs him one more Grandslam. Again, this was Fed's to lose who hadn't dropped a set till the final but cudnt convert his own chances in the final set. But the best part was Fed was playing vintage inspired tennis and fans are in for a treat this year. A record 8th Wimbledon is beckoning. All in all, a great & exciting tournament and looking forward to Miami. | ||

Djoko's game has been off the boil this year.....Also, since the past 2 years, he's got into the unusual habit of reaching finals and losing tight matches due to lack of focus. He also sometimes enters God mode where he is near unplayable like in early 2011 & late 2013, where even Nadal struggles to touch him. His serve has been his weakness imho, as he doesn't have a big serve to bail him out in tight situations, like even Fed & Murray. He depends on accuracy and the day his serve is inconsistent, it goes into 5 sets. When he is serving well, it's a different ball game all together as he creates break opportunities anyways. Frankly, it all seems to be in his head....Djoko fans will understand when I say we aren't sure which Nole turns up on Wat day....It's becoming a gamble with him. | ||

right now nole is struggling with his mental toughness rather than anything else... I still dont know why he hired becker. now it seems he is caught between his natural style ( from baseline) and the new one is is trying ( attack the net)... joker is serving better for the last couple of years than he used to... coming to this match joker definitely hols the advantage ... he doesnt have to play his best to beat fed.. | ||

Definitely Nole's serve needs to be better. That is the biggest reason his game has deserted him in big matches.... Last year Canadian open, he lost because his serve was down a notch... The 2nd reason is his forehand of course.... He will need both these to be grooving tomorrow.... I think the ATP needs to speed up the conditions just a little to encourage serve and volley.... Last 2 matches he really raised his game, but still it reflects very bad on this generation that players like Dimitrov, Janowicz, Raonic and even Murray and Nole are allowing Federer and Nadal - two players past their prime to take control of the tour.... Harsh to Nole in the group, but he sure has underperformed in the last 2 years specially in the American Hardcourts... Dolgo really got thrown off by the wind. You can't blame him... 2yrs back similar thing happened to Nadal as well. Fed is one of the best players at handling windy conditions. Nadal is good too, but Federer's serve remains so steady even in really horrible conditions.... Prime examples = Soderling USO 2010, Rafa IW 2012, and agassi USO 2004.... I still think this is Nole's title to lose, but if Fed plays like this, then all bets are off! btw.... you can make almost 10 bucks for 1 on Isner today.
