Pawan should find 10-20 strong constituencies for his party and ally with CPI, CPM, Lok Satta which are parties with similar ideolgy as his and win seats. That will be a good start. He should content himself and represent state in Assembly. That should be his first step for success. | ||

Format : Lengthy, repetitive, too much explaining personal motive for why he is coming to politics with examples from his Child hood. Content : No formal manifesto declaration, no party structure and goals, no political planns for 2014. Emotion : After NTR, next best speaker to evoke emotions and aavesam in people. Political alignment : anti-Congress, anti-TRS Did not do : attack other parties other than TRS and Congress For those who focus on -ves only, all the above will give them ammunition to attack PK. But we have to see how PK is positioning himself : One-man show : Pawan Party has one man as its identity. So he is the front center, left and right for now. Its him and his personality that attracts or repels voters. So talking about him and his motives is very relevant. Agenda : He said before he is coming to question. What that means is made very clear in speech : he is going to appeal to voters directly like in Presidential elections and influence them to not vote for certain parties. Maturity in admitting : He admitted he does not have much money to run the party, no infrastructure, no media except social media/youtube... He admitted he is not sure he will contest in elections. So it clears him of any pressure to do dirty politics for gaining seats. Politically -ve strategy : If he only influences voters with questioning and does not contest in direct elections and win atleast 5 MLAs, his value will be very less after 2014 elections unless he plans to start a grass roots movement for 2019. Still, need of the hour for AP is good governance and he should have a participation in it with some MLAs and good political alliances. This meeting shows exactly where he stands : Saiddhantikam kaa very strong foundation Organizationally and financially very weak Uncertain about political alliances For Pawan to be successful in politics, he must find a way to surive and grow his organization. Pumped up speeches will help but not always. People need to see solid action from him so he can build credibility by matching words with action. Let us see how he will do in this category. |
