This time a woman cop was the pillion rider with Sanap during the reconstruction, sources said. The police have video-graphed the entire event and is likely to submit it in the court. Following the speculations of how is it possible to take a girl with a lot of luggage on a motorcycle, the crime branch that is probing the case, reconstructed the sequence of events that led to the crime. "We decided to recreate the same scene that might have taken place on the morning of January 5, when Esther had gone missing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) premises. We chose the exact time to leave the platform. Sanap was provided with a motorcycle and a woman constable was made to sit behind him on the bike," said a police officer. He added that a backpack (weighted around 6kg) and a trolley bag (weighted around 10kg) were used. "Sanap had kept the trolley bag on the petrol tank of the bike, while the woman cop was holding the backpack. He drove through the route used by him on the day of the incident and reached the murder spot in about 24 minutes from LTT," the officer said. The crime branch sources said that they have also video-graphed the entire sequence of events so that if required, it can be submitted in the court to prove the point that Esther was indeed taken on a motorcycle along with the luggage by Sanap. "Now that the reconstruction process has proved that it was possible for Sanap to take Esther on a bike with luggage to the murder spot. Hence, the speculations would come to an end," said another police officer.
