http://www.deccanchronicle.com/node/104129 Hyderabad: The Union Cabinet has decided that in Bhadrachalam division, the revenue village of Bhadrachalam where the famous Rama temple is located will be included in Telangana. Union minister Jairam Ramesh said there was some ambiguity over the distribution of power between the two states. The Cabinet has decided that 85 per cent of the power generated by the Central power projects will be allotted to both states on the basis of their population according to the Gadgil formula. The remaining 15 per cent will be distributed between the two states on the basis of actual consumption by the two regions for the last five years. |
