SA shouuld not compete with HYD. They should develop independently focussing on excellence. I would go with the Kerala model..tourism, fisheries, coastline based industries and soft skilled jobs. That is the reason why T leaders are giving soft statements. But No matter what no SA guy will opt for Hyd unless it is made UT. you tried in wrong time. You need to wait for few years. in 2002 there are no much choice for a IT guy in Hyderbad. satyam many offices few TCS, wipro, Infy offices. Though there is IT boom in Hyd from 96-97 (Hitech City etc). But after 10 years (by 2006) you have almost all companies in Hyd. Same thing will happen to Vij/Vizag. Naku telsnatha varaku new IT campus lu ku ekkuva tax benefits vunayi. Andhukee big IT companies (like TCS, Infy, Wipro) always changes their campus to new loacations after 5-10 years. Initally in HiTech city. Then movies to Gachibowli, Now thye are moving to outer ring road at srisailam hwy. so mana ki pichha chances vunatyi. naa personal experience.....I wanted to start my India office in Vijayawada 1 year back....I interviewed lot of people......they are from andhra and rayalaseema area and they bought houses in Hyderabad and their kids are studying in international schools in hyderabad.......many people rejected to relocate to Vijayawada......So finally I opened my office in hitech-city All intellectual power of AP people are settled in Hyderabad......also Hyderabad land prices are reasonable as it has huge employment Vijayawada lo huge employment lekapoyina land prices are too much high. We cannot replace Hyderabad in next 10 years.....It Infrastructure Rocks !!! |
