I usually identify (at lesat 60%-70% by their first and last names. Each time I interview a candidate, I would ask FULL name(mostly name on the resume gives me a very fair idea of where from that candidate is). If that person is doing well in the interview, I will ask from which colleges they did Intermediate, Engg etc.. At that point, I can clearly make out the location of the candidate. But I have never taken a decision on the basis of the locality of the candidate. Even I have rejected My OWN college Juniors in interviews. | ||
