Not long ago did producer BVSN Prasad announce that he would be producing a film with NTR under Sukumar's direction. Sukumar’s last flick 1 Nenokadine was a big flop at the box office. It was surprise when BVSN Prasad announced that Sukumar will direct this film. NTR also had given dates for this film from April. Now comes in a shocker! Reliable sources tell us that NTR might not do this film after all. They informed us that the main reasons for NTR calling off Sukumar’s film are because of apprehensions that the director would escalate the budget and delay the shoot, like he did for his last film. NTR’s preference is director Surender Reddy with whom he has done two films. One is Ashok and other is Oosaravelli. Although both films didn't fare well, he seems to have good equations with the director. Presently NTR is busy with Rabhasa, which is eyeing for May release. Surender Reddy on the other hand is busy with Allu Arjun starrer Race Gurram, which might come to theatres in April. With both NTR and Surender Reddy finishing their commitments in April-May, this new film might go on floors this summer. Jai PARAKALA |
