chiru wanted ram charan or pawan to act in dabangg remake and bought rights in october 2010 itself. But at that time, nagababu was buried into heavy expenses for ORANGE movie. Total money spent for that movie crossed 50 cr but nagababu told everyone that it crossed 30 cr only, so that he can atleast get some amounts back and release it. 2 culprits were behind the over budget. 1 was director Bommarllu Basker, who made movie without any planning and 2nd was nagababu's brother-in-law Manyam Ramesh. This Ramesh initially used to work as cashier in geetha arts, then moved to nagababu's Anjana productions. He had this bad history of making fake calculations for nagababu's movies in past. Infact, in the past ramesh along with production controller Mohan Rao stole lot of money for nagababu's productions 'Gudumba Shankar' & 'Stalin'. Mohan Rao was kicked out of chiru's camp, but ramesh used relation card and continued. For Orange, original budget spent by bhaskar was 30+ and remaining 20+ cr was 'donga lekkalu' of ramesh. He left no proof to be caught and later did real estate, international diamonds, produced 2 small movies, financed few more etc. When excess money became a loss and burden for nagababu, Chiru and Pawan decided to sell/transfer 'dabangg' rights to Ganesh Bandla and paid that amount to nagababu's financiers. That amount was 8 crores, which was paid by chiru. Pawan signed ganesh's Teenmaar, Panjaa and paid that money to nagababu (again 8 more crores) to clear his loans. Now nagababu is safe but pawan got effected. He didnt have too many savings from past and his earlier movie K.Puli took 2.5 yrs in making. So his wife Renu Desai didnt like him giving all his money to his brother nagababu and wanted financial security for her children's future.
