I second with Mav. Nissan engines, especially for Altima is as reliable as Honda and Toyota. Engine maintenance lights vachhe varaku don't bother really. Drive lo if you notice engine drags as well.. or loss of mileage, appudu aalochinchu... otherwise, don't bother. Private auto-repair lo with other items like wipers, tire rotation etc, cost me exactly the same amount you quoted. Dealership will charge only for inspection, not for performing those repairs. In case you want to shell out money, reliably popular private auto-repair centers are better. check manual anf follow the suggested service. Dont buy the 30k package as most of it would be just inspection of brakes, fluids etc etc | ||

I need suggestions ... my car has 30K miles on it. i bought it when it was at 20K. Now the dealership is suggesting i get it serviced because it has been 30k already. The quote is $380. They gave me a list of things they will check. Should I go with dealership? I'm not even sure if i should get it now.... drove only 10 k so far.
