Many Telugu film and political personalities and thousands of fans have paid their last respects to the legendary artist of Telugu cinema Dr.ANR. It was a sad moment for the entire Indian film industry. The love and respect he got among the masses can be seen in the huge turnout and many of them even stayed till his pyre was lit. But many noted directors of Tollywood made their presence with their absence. Director Ram Gopl Varma and Puri Jagannadh along with Harish Shankar, VV Vinayak, Krishna Vamsi could not attend the last journey of the legend. It was the Annapurna banner that gave life to RGV with Shiva and Puri Jagannadh too got an opportunity to work for the banner and Nag very early in his career. Both of them are indebted to their family and they should have paid their last respects to the great actor unless they are too busy to miss an opportunity like this. |
